I love to teach crochet help others improve their crochet skills and because of that I am going to be bringing out a stitch tutorial every month.
This month the tutorial is for the Crab Stitch!
This stitch is best used on edgings as it provides some structure and will be difficult to work into for multiple rows. It can take some getting used to as you need to work backwards, but once you get into the rhthym you’ll realise that it’s not so hard to do.
Below are the stitch guide and the video tutorial for you to use.
If you would like to receive these directly to your inbox each month, be sure to add your name to my email list. As a thank you you will also receive my free beginners guide and a free pattern. Members of the Hooked on Crochet Club have direct access to all stitch guides in a reference library in the members only section of my website, if you’d like to consider becoming a member, be sure to add your name to the waitlist for when the doors next open!

Seona, I love this stitch for covering up loose ends while still keeping the stretch in blanket edges. It’s definitely a very useful stitch. Crochet hugs Jenny
