Simple Gift Ideas to Crochet

It’s that time of year where we should be planning and making all the things that we want to give as gifts. Many of us are likely leaving it way to late though and just need something quick and easy to make!

All of these are suggestions only as I prefer to inspire you to create your own version of things and make them truly unique to you. You can find patterns to suit many of them in my online, etsy, ravelry or lovecrafts stores. Others you can find on this blog.

My go to suggestion is a washcloth. I have over 50 designs to choose from and they make a lovely and useful gift. It’s dependent on the design and how fast you crochet, but most can be made in a few hours too. They make a great stocking filler or added touch to a gift card.

Beanies and hats are another option that I love to go to, especially if you’re in the northern hemisphere that is much cooler at this time of year.

Bookmarks are perfect if you have a booklover to gift to. And can be a great addition to a giftcard to their favourite book store too.

Wall hangings can be a unique idea to gift too.

And let’s not forget bags! You can never have enough bags.

This is just the beginning. If you’re looking for even more ideas, then why not join the Hooked on Crochet Club for a month or two. You’ll get access to well over 60 small project patterns with video tutorials, plus all of my washcloth patterns and how to make dozens of different granny square projects and over 60 granny squares to choose from too. It will help you get through times like this!
