One of my favourite things about crochet is the texture that you can create. I love seeing designs that let the stitches do the talking. And it’s even better when the texture is created from the basic stitches. Using the basic stitches is more likely to create a design that is more calming to make.
This month’s washcloth ticks those boxes!

Doesn’t this just look so soft and squishy?! And it is made from three most basic stitches. And to keep it simpler I also made it borderless. It kept such a straight edge that I kept it that way, though I think it would also look lovely if you decide that you want to add a border to it.
I’ve called this one Rippling Tides (thank you again Chatgpt!). The yarn colour has been changed a bit with the filter used – it’s more green than blue in real life. I’ve used my trusty old KnitPicks Dishie to make this one.
