A Crochet Project with Trebles (Double Trebles in UK Terms)

What are your thoughts on trebles? Double Trebles in UK terms?

As a general rule, they are not my favourite basic stitch. But I do love how it feels like I’m waving a magic wand when I make them. They usually end up looking messy though, which is why I don’t tend to enjoy them. But if you want to make cables then they are a stitch that you will want to get better at because you need them for those. And this washcloth pattern can help you with that!

This one was really fun to make, and I love the overall look of it too. You might have to get used to seeing the treble rounds look a lot more raised, but it is all part of the fun and the texture of it.

I’ve used KnitPicks Dishie again. It is a wonderful and affordable cotton for making washcloths with.
