Diamond in the Rough Washcloth

Meet this month’s washcloth pattern – Diamond in the Rough. Named because if you look closely enough you’ll see a diamond pattern in it! This pattern was inspired by a pattern that is in one of my favourite cardigans. I had been thinking for a while that it would make a fun filet crochet pattern and with this month being the theme of Rows I decided that it was finally time.

I know it’s a little hard to see, but trust me it’s there! It’s probably easier to see the full design on this reel where I hold it up and show it. I think it will show up even better with a darker colour.

If you’re yet to try filet crochet then this pattern should be an easy one to try with. I have the complete written instructions included as well as a copy of the chart and instructions for how to read it in the pattern notes. I think this design would make for a pretty blanket too, which you could created from this pattern as I explain how to adjust to a different size.

If you’re a clubhouse member, then keep an eye on your emails this weekend as it will be sent to you! If you’re not a member yet, then I have good news! The doors to the Hooked on Crochet Club open next week – Thursday 16th June – for 5 days only. And now is the time to become a member because when I open the doors in October it will be at a much higher price. It’s time to charge what it’s truly worth, but if you get in this time, the price you join at is the price it will stay at for you for as long as you stay a member in good standing. If you don’t want to miss out on this bargain price, then be sure to add your name to the waitlist today so that you get emailed when the doors open.
