This month’s washcloth puts us at number 6 for this second series. That means we have 6 different borders to play with and adapt to our other projects.
This one is another simple one that uses all of our basic stitches. I opted to keep it in all one colour but you could definitely add in a colour mix to suit what ever project you’re making.
This one has two base rounds of single crochet (UK double crochet) followed by a round of double crochet (UK treble) and chains. The final round creates a scalloped edge by working into the chain spaces and starting with your shortest stitch, to the tallest and back down to the shortest – can you guess what they would be?
As always this washcloth was made using KnitPicks Dishie and the pattern will be sent to my Hooked on Crochet Club members. If you would like to purchase it then be sure to head to one of the links below. If you choose my online store you have the option of receiving 50% discount if you purchase 2 or more from either series and use the Coupon Code WASCLOTHSAVE.
If you’re wanting to gain more confidence with crochet you will want to consider joining the Hooked on Crochet Club. It’s an online membership that is the only one of it’s kind.
