Who loves flowers? And even better, who loves Tulips?! I love both! Tulips are my favourite flower and what I had in my wedding all those years ago. And if you love them too then you’re bound to love this border!
How pretty is this border? It’s such a simple one too. If you can make the popcorn stitch, then you can make this border. If you’ve never made the popcorn stitch but can do double crochet (UK treble), then you can easily learn the popcorn stitch.
And it’s a border that can be added to any stitch count, which is even better! Well technically it needs an even stitch count, but it is so simple to fudge it and make it right if you have an uneven number.
As with all these washcloths I have used my trusty Knit Picks Dishie. I still have so many left in my stash, but very tempted to buy more in my favourite colours. Especially for when I embark on series 3 for next year.
If you’re wanting to try this washcloth out, you can find it at the links below. All my clubhouse members will receive a copy in their inbox on the weekend! And if you purchase it from my online store or etsy you will also receive a tutorial guide for the popcorn stitch.

If you’re wanting to gain more confidence with crochet you will want to consider joining the Hooked on Crochet Club. It’s an online membership that is the only one of it’s kind. Every month we provide you with projects that help you to increase your crochet skillset inside a private community. And each week there are live tutorials, with week 2 being dedicated now to a grannie square project and week 3 to a square tutorial. It’s the ideal way to improve on your crochet, which in turn brings more calm and satisfaction to your life. If you want to learn more, be sure to head on over here and add your name to the waitlist! Doors are only open a few times of year so you won’t to miss out.
