I don’t know about you, but I’ve avoided adding a fringe to any scarves as it just appeared too fussy and difficult. Recently though, a project I was designing for the Hooked on Crochet Club was screaming out for a fringe to be added. So I had to step past my fear of fringe and just add one.

And it wasn’t has hard or as fussy as it seemed! And if you have kids that are old enough, it’s even less fussy if you can convince them to cut all the lengths of yarn that you need.

Below is a simple tutorial for how I have added fringe to my scarf, bookmark and coaster.
