Massage Bubbles Washcloth

I really love this little washcloth! I put the call out for names for it and received suggestions related to bubbles and massage…so i used these ideas to name it Massage Bubbles!

The “bubbles” in this pattern are what I am calling a Cross Puff Stitch. We’ve played with cross stitches before, and this one is made using two small puff stitches crossed over each other. The border is a simple but pretty border using single crochet (UK double crochet). I would say this one is suitable for an advanced beginner and above.

As with all my washcloths, I used Knit Picks Dishie Yarn. And I’m loving my current stash of lovely pastel and neutral colours.

This washcloth is the first in my new series. This one is following the theme of texture. We’ll also be exploring the themes of rounds and rows with the washcloths in this series. If you’re a member of the Hooked on Crochet Club, then you’re familiar with these themes already as this is what our monthly projects are based on.
