Stitch Tutorial – Picot Single Crochet

Picot’s are something I had only ever used on the edge of a design so I was excited to discover this stitch that I used in our projects for the Hooked on Crochet Club this month – the Picot Single Crochet.

This stitch is so simple to make – feels even more simple than a picot! And it creates cute little textured “dots” on top of a crochet fabric. You could slip this stitch in anwhere on a fabric filled with single crochets. If you prefer UK terms, then you might know it as a picot double crochet.
