Introducing the watermelon beanie that I made from a pattern designed by Keziah from @hooked_on_hooky.  She designed this for The Secret Crochet Club subscription box in 2017 which I had subscribed to and was lucky enough to receive!

I made the original one from the box for my son’s girlfriend who loves beanies.  It turns out it is a little bit popular so I have added it as a made to order item in my etsy store!

I have enough materials on hand to make two more, so be quick if you want one!

The beanie is made from Scheepjes Stone Washed XL which I purchase locally online from Yarns for All.  This is a lovely soft yarn made from 70% cotton and 30% acrylic.

Each beanie that I make will also come with a pom pom key-ring made with the left over yarn!
