Need another reason to crochet? It’s an ideal creative outlet!! Craft is a creative outlet for many of us and many of us will dabble in all kinds of crafts to get that creative outlet we need. Some crafts we need more skills for than others. And some give us more variety than others.

You don’t need to be overly skilled at crochet to create beautiful work. And the variety of what you can make in crochet is endless!! If you can master just one or two basic stitches then you can create in crochet. Just look at the grannie square alone and how many things you can create with that! And if the basic stitches is all that you can do, then you can mix up the creativity with the colours and type of yarn that you use!

I’m a sewer. I learned to knit. I dabbled in embroidery as a teen. I love to colour in and I have created with fabric and glue too. But crochet is the ideal creative outlet for me. It is just so versatile and the ideas you can come up with are endless! And practical.

Shawls, blankets, hats, socks, baskets, bags, cushions, toys, clothes, art. The list of what you can make is endless!
