Can you believe that Christmas is only a few weeks away?! If you’re still wanting to give some handmade gifts, but are running out of time, then this blog post is just what you need! I’ll share some of my patterns that are quick and easy to make gift ideas.
This one is definitely a quick easy make and it makes an easy gift – a bottle of wine – a more personalised gift. All you need is some t-shirt yarn and you’re set to go.
This is another simple pattern that can be used to personalise an easy gift. And if you don’t want to gift a plant, these also make for handy little storage baskets. All you need is t-shirt yarn for this one too.
This coaster, or any coaster is an easy gift! You can make them in any colour and in any size set, tie them nicely together with yarn and you have a lovely gift. One that you can also give with the wine tote. This one uses worsted or aran weight yarn.
If you don’t have any worsted weight yarn then maybe this coaster that uses dk weight or 8ply yarn is more suitable. And it has a matching cushion cover if you’re wanting to create a living room set.
Texture in Stripe Cushion Cover
A cushion cover isn’t as quick to make, but can make for a lovely gift. The pattern is adaptable for size too, so you can adjust it for any size cushion insert.
A face cloth or wash cloth are also handy gifts to get! All you need is some cotton and you’re set. This is something that you can make from the most basic of stitches like you would a swatch and then add a simple border.
