It’s time for a new tutorial!
This one is for the front post double crochet (front post treble) and is one of the stitches used in the first washcloth in my washcloth series. It can feel a little clunky to begin with, but once you figure out where you need to put your hook, it’s not much more difficult than the double crochet (treble).
If you’re new to crochet then I recommend that you master the double crochet (treble) before you start to try this one.
I love this stitch for creating some texture in a pattern. You might have seen the free pattern I posted earlier on instagram. This is a simple pattern to practice the stitch with.
If you would like to receive these tutorials in your inbox, be sure to add your name to the waitlist for the Hooked on Crochet Club. There will be a new tutorial every month! They’re also added to the stitch card library for clubhouse members.
If you give this stitch a try, let me know what you think!
