Sometimes we just need an afternoon project to break up the larger projects or to fill in before starting a new one. So I thought I would share some ideas here…
Washcloths! These are always a go to project for me. They’re a fun way to learn new stitches and designs while also making something practical. I’ve been producing a new washcloth pattern every month for over two years now and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. You can find them all at this link here, and I’ve included some of my favourites below. I have some bundles too, so if you’re looking for a good deal on washcloth patterns then look for the bundles!
Hats! I could live in hats and beanies in the cooler months. They’re a little bit tricker with shorter, curly hair, but I love changing up an outfit with a new hat. I have a few of my favourite styles in my store, and they’re all adaptable to your own head size too.
Some fingerless gloves! You could make these from granny squares or you could make them in the round like the ones below.
Coasters! I feel that we can never have enough coasters. I’ll admit I rarely used them until I learned to crochet and now I have them every where in all sorts of styles. The one below is the first ever pattern that I published.
If you’re always on the lookout for new project ideas and want to expand on your crochet skills in the process then my Hooked on Crochet Club is for you! Check it out here. We have almost three years worth of projects to choose from now and we’re providing new ones every month.
Be sure to hit subscribe to my blog too so that you don’t miss any future tutorials and crochet inspiration that I have for you. Even better, sign up to my email list so that you have them all sent directly to your inbox as well as my monthly “hooked” newsletter.
