Checkered Granny Square Scarf

I love this scarf more than I thought I would! My only wish is that I had more green so that I could make it longer.

My intent when I started this scarf was to focus on the design within the granny square. I think that is somewhat lost though making it in multiple colours. Instead I am more in love with the mix and match colours of the squares. The two neutrals (a white and stone) with the green just work so well! I no longer have any of the green left, but I do have some of the white and stone so I might need to make a hat to match.

So what do you think? What colours and square would you re-create this in?

I’ll be showing my Clubhouse members exactly how I made this scarf in our week 2 Hook and Learn lesson in the Clubhouse. Every week in the Hooked on Crochet Club I have a live tutorial that covers a pre-planned project or a tutorial for a stitch or technique that members need on a current project – either their own or a clubhouse one.
